Participants’ stories

Gulzhanat Tayauova, Gaukhar Niyetalina, Turan University, Kazakhstan

Thanks to our participation in the Erasmus+ programme, we had an opportunity to conduct lectures for several students of the University of Management Personnel in Konin, Poland,

During our stay in Konin, we met with the Rector of the University of Management Personnel, Professor Krzysztof Kupinski. The collaboration between Turan University and the University of Management Personnel was deemed highly productive, opening new perspectives for further cooperation in the fields of science and education. Opportunities for joint research projects, exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as the organization of joint events for students and faculty from both universities were discussed during the meetings.

We would like to thank for the opportunity to visit University of Management Personnel as part of the European Union’s Erasmus+ KA171 program. It was also a pleasure to visit Konin and learn about the culture of this region in Poland.

It will be a pleasure an honour to continue our collaboration within the programme.

Guram Sherozia, European University LLT, Georgia

I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in an academic exchange program through the Erasmus initiative, which took me to Konin, Poland. During this week-long academic journey, I had the pleasure of meeting local students and sharing my knowledge and experiences with them. I also attended classes led by my colleagues, which gave me fresh insights and valuable new knowledge that I can bring back to my own teaching.

One of the standout aspects of this program was the combination of academic and cultural exchange activities. I got to explore the beautiful sights of Konin, which added a unique dimension to the overall experience. Attending the inauguration ceremony at the University of Management Personnel was another highlight—it was truly inspiring to witness that important moment of academic life in another part of the world.

I’m incredibly grateful to the organizers for making this program so impactful and memorable. Special thanks to my home institution, European University, for supporting my participation in this exchange.

I firmly believe that programs like Erasmus+ are essential for academic staff. They’re not only a chance to gain new academic insights but also to engage in cultural exchanges, build valuable networks, and benefit from a wealth of new experiences. It’s a fantastic opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, and I’m excited to bring back what I’ve learned to enrich my own academic community.

On behalf of myself and Vice-Rector Ihor Chulipa, we would like to thank WSKM in Konin for the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program between our universities. It was warm and friendly hospitality, a good experience for us as academic teachers and, of course, an opportunity to get to know the international academic environment. We would like to thank Your Rector for the hospitality and the International Relations Office for the warm meeting and good emotions. We would like to thank the students for their active participation in our classes. We hope for fruitful future cooperation and invite You all to visit our university in Lutsk.

My recent academic mobility experience at Wyższa Szkoła Kadr Menedżerskich (WSKM) in Konin was truly enriching. The warm hospitality and professionalism of the faculty and staff made it a truly enjoyable and productive visit. During my time at WSKM, I had the opportunity to teach students, communicate with the professors of the host university and its administration. These experiences fostered valuable connections with fellow researchers and academics. I am grateful for the opportunity to have exchanged ideas and learned from the expertise of WSKM's esteemed faculty. This mobility program undoubtedly improved my understanding of the educational and cultural realities in Poland and the European Union. Overall, my time at WSKM was a valuable addition to my academic journey. I am confident that the knowledge and connections gained will contribute significantly to my future endeavours.

Elton Brakaj, University "Ismail Qemali" Vlora, Albania

The visit to Wyższa Szkoła Kadr Menedżerskich in Konin was a surprising exchange of experiences. There we found an institution that performed its noble duty with dignity. Also, we were faced with professional staff, from whom we all had something to learn, and with hospitality that was present throughout our stay in Konin. Beyond the professional experience, a very beautiful memory was the visit we made to the historical, cultural and religious centers of the region and their impressive libraries. Thank you!

Anton Sinatashvili, Kutaisi University, Georgia

First of all, I want to thank the University administration for such an opportunity. It was educational, fruitful, full of information and impressions. Also I was very pleased to meet your staff, see how you work, meet your library staff and along with all of the impressions, gain new knowledge, it was awesome. Now about your city and its surroundings, I was amazed when I saw how big temples you have, I mean HUGE, it was something, also on the other day we were at the Lad monastery and visited its library, which was fantastic. I feel like I was William Baskerville in Umberto Eco's 'The Name of The Rose,' walking in its Corridor, seen a lot of interesting and someway mysterious places, meet our guide, local padre, who was our guide during that trip. Everything was remarkable and I hope I will see you in Kutaisi soon.
